Nokia Trends
The now legendary Nokia Trends started back in 2004, when a crowd gathered on a beach in Rio to hear Fatboy Slim. Public demand led to similar events in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Mar del Plata in Argentina, featuring artists like Chicks on Speed and The Chemical Brothers. Within a year, Nokia Trends was making waves across the Atlantic in venues across Europe, and 2005 saw the biggest Nokia Trends party yet, with simultaneous events in Germany, Brazil and Argentina.
It’s all about taking new music to new places. Parties that move from one country to another and take place in different and unexpected locations: a beach, a sports arena, an art museum… All over Europe, venues are playing host to new bands, talented artists and mobile entertainment.
